Professional Experience
My life has been very full and I’ve been involved in many things. Now, I would like to apply my experience, knowledge, and leadership abilities to the AMC. I served on the board of the National Association of Securities Dealers (now called FINRA) for 7 years. NASD is the regulator for the securities industry in the United States. It is a not-for-profit (same as American Mensa) with 5600 member firms and 600,000 associated persons. During that time I served on the Membership, Technology, Search, Regulatory, and Audit Committees. I also served on the board of the NASDAQ Stock Market for 2 years. I served as President and Chairman of NAIBD for 12 years, a not-for-profit trade organization. I served on the President’s National Hire Veterans Committee for 2 years, this committee reported directly to the Secretary of Labor. I have a B.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. with emphasis in Management.
